About Gybeset

Event Professional. Online Media addict. Sailing specialist.

Gybeset has stopped it’s activities. Fettje got the opportunity to work fulltime for Nautor’s Swan Benelux.

The face behind Gybeset is Fettje Osinga, born and raised in “Fryslân”, the northern part of the Netherlands and as a true Frysian she loves sailing and everything that comes with it. During her studies she decided she wants to make a difference to the sport of sailing to further develop and professionalise this amazing sport.

Tactical

Follow your heart; doing what you truly love; turn your hobby into your job: it makes so much sense but just a few actually make this happen. Fettje did. She changed here study: from a medical-beta study to Leisure Management at the Stenden University. Straight from the beginning she’s been active as board member in the student sailing bodies.

Since the start in 2012 many sailing projects has passed by. Supporting clubs, events and businesses: together we’re building our sport! The most recent step is the start of the Keelboat Academy: J/Club asked Gybeset to exploit the fleet of J/70’s that has been acquired for the Dutch Sailing League.

Focus

The only way to become successful is to start a project with a clear goal. At the start of her career at event agency ‘De Bootsmannen | Pampus Events’ Fettje always had a clear goal: 2,5 years she gained the experience at the agency towards corporate events, account and project management. Over the years this has been more specialised into the world of sailing which results in a huge amount of knowledge and experience in this niche market: sponsorships, team and athlete management, project management and online media: Gybeset will remain focused.

Extensive Network

Having a strong, international network is extremely important in the world of sailing. Throughout the years working and sailing in the international sailing industry made the network of Fettje grow rapidly: she knows what’s going on in the industry and gained trust of many.

Winning team

What is it that makes a team winning? Having the right people, knowledge and experience in the best formation possible. Choosing the right crew, tactics and most of all: working with enthusiasm and dedication. These are key elements of the work ethic of Gybeset. Gybeset is aiming to get the highest possible achievement for you, your club or your company.
